DAY 1 — ARRIVAL IN HANOI & CULTURAL DISCOVERY

Welcome to Vietnam.

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in central Hanoi.

In the afternoon, discover some of the capital’s most important cultural and historical landmarks, beginning with Tran Quoc Pagoda beside West Lake. Continue to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, before visiting Hoa Lo Prison for an insight into an important chapter of the country’s modern history.

Optional experiences such as a cyclo ride through Hanoi Old Quarter and a traditional Water Puppet Show can also be arranged.

DAY 2 — HANOI – HOA LU – TRANG AN – NINH BINH

Leave Hanoi in the morning for the spectacular landscapes of Ninh Binh.

Cycle through the countryside to Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s ancient capital, and discover the temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le. Continue through the surrounding villages for a glimpse into everyday local life before enjoying lunch amid Ninh Binh’s mountain scenery.

In the afternoon, explore Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel by traditional boat through a landscape of limestone mountains, peaceful waterways and natural caves.

Return to Hanoi in the evening.

DAY 3 — HANOI – HA LONG BAY

After breakfast, depart Hanoi for Ha Long Bay.

Board your cruise and enjoy lunch while sailing among hundreds of dramatic limestone formations rising from emerald waters.

Spend the afternoon discovering the bay. Depending on the selected cruise and route, experiences may include Sung Sot Cave in Ha Long Bay or Dark & Light Cave in the Lan Ha Bay area.

Relax on board and enjoy dinner surrounded by the peaceful scenery of the bay.

DAY 4 — HA LONG BAY – HANOI – DEPARTURE

Wake up surrounded by the tranquil beauty of Ha Long Bay.

Begin the morning with tea, coffee and breakfast, with the opportunity to join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Continue exploring the bay, with activities such as swimming or kayaking depending on the cruise itinerary.

Enjoy brunch before returning to Tuan Chau Harbour and transferring back to Hanoi.

Continue to the airport for your onward journey.
